Definition of Image Media
Picture media is a visual media that can only be seen and does not have sound or audio elements in it. Image media has another meaning in the form of something that is embodied in a visual form or in a two-dimensional form in it there is an outpouring or a thought and various kinds such as paintings, porters, strips, slides, projectors, and others.
Picture series media is a sequence of pictures that can follow a conversation in terms of introducing or presenting a meaning in the picture. This picture is called a picture series because one picture with another picture has a relationship or is related to one another. The purpose of this image is that this image media can assist in presenting an event or event chronologically with the presence of objects, people, and backgrounds.

Reality
The point is that the objects used come from real objects that are often used as learning materials. For example natural landscapes.
Model
The point is that 3D or no-dimensional objects are representations of actual objects. For example cars, and others.

This is material that comes from an exhibition or a display that is installed in a certain area.

Picture media itself has several benefits which are explained by Subana [1998: 322] as a learning medium which include:
- Facilitate understanding / understanding of students.
- Clarify & magnify important / small parts so they can be observed.
- Facilitate abstract understanding.
- Generate interest in students.
- Can shorten a description. Existing information can be explained in words that require a long description.
- In general, media images can clarify and facilitate an understanding of the important things you want to convey to the recipient of the message.
