Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid Released in 2023, More Sophisticated Machines!
After the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid 2023, now the official replacement for the Corolla Altis Hybrid 2023 has been issued for the European market. It is possible that this car will be marketed by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) in Indonesia in the future.
This latest sedan has received several updates compared to its initial generation, starting from a more powerful hybrid engine, features, exterior, to interior.

1. Up-date exterior and interior design for Toyota Corolla Altis 2023
Overall the exterior design is still the same as the original version, however, there are many changes that have been made to the exterior.
Such as the new mesh grille design, new rim design, fog lamp bezels, and new LED bi-beam special lights. The interior gets improvements such as new seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and a new 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment monitor.
2. The engine has more power
Quoting Paultan.org, the New Corolla Altis Hybrid 2023 raises the 5th generation of Toyota's full hybrid technology. Which is sold in two engine options, 1.8L and 2.0L.
Toyota updated the Power Control Unit (PCU) and transaxle eelectric motor, which is combined with a lithium-ion battery that is smaller in size but with more power. Thus the weight of the hybrid powertrain can be reduced to 18 kg, depending on the variation.
Performance issues, the 1.8 liter hyrid engine can spit out optimal power of up to 138 hp, which means that it is 18 hp higher than the current mode.
With this engine, the Corolla Altis 1.8 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds, 1.7 seconds faster than its pioneer.
3. Will go next year
Meanwhile, for a 2.0 liter hybrid engine the maximum power is 193 hp, 15 hp higher than before. With this engine, the car can be triggered from 0-100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.
