The modern era makes people dissatisfied with the life of the world based on past experiences, religious doctrines, and social philosophy. Through the services they have provided, sociology has now become a science that is increasingly recognized in Indonesia. And because of his persistence in developing Sociology, Selo Soemardjan is often dubbed the Father of Indonesian Sociology.
