Exemplum Text in Indonesian
My family and I live in an apartment not far from my parents' house. My neighbors, a husband and wife couple who live downstairs, like to have parties with their friends. Last night they had another party and it really disturbed our comfort. As a result, I wasn't the only one bothered. My father, mother, and sister were also disturbed.
When I was about to go to work and take out the car, I was very surprised because there was a car parked in front of my garage. The owner of the car parked his car at will. I certainly couldn't get my car out of the garage because it was blocked by the car. I went to a neighbor who had a party last night because I thought the car belonged to his friends. When I knocked on the door and asked them to move the car, I was very surprised to find that the car did not belong to those who were at the party. Without thinking, then I asked another neighbor. They said they didn't own the car.
I was silent for a moment as I walked towards the car again. Not long after, I decided to call the police whose office is not far from where I live. Even though the policeman came quickly, he couldn't do much. He also couldn't move the car because he didn't have the keys. The policeman looked at me as he walked to his car. All the police can do is give
letter ticket and tucked it in the windshield of the car. This experience was very memorable for me. I couldn't get my car out because someone had parked the car arbitrarily in front of my garage. Even the police, whom I hoped to come to help, were unable to move the car. If I moved the car, I had to break the glass and get inside to release the handbrake lever. The goal is that the car can be pushed to another place. I can only wait until the owner of the car arrives. In order not to disturb other people, park the car in the space provided.
That morning Dani wanted to go to school. However, due to the insufficient financial condition of his family, he was forced to give up his intention. Dani could not continue her education because she had to help her mother, who earns a living as a rice seller. Dani can only help his mother selling pecel rice. Since his father died, the Dani family's economy has been unstable. They try hard to raise money for their daily needs. They hope to get more sustenance so that Dani can go back to school.
When Dani set out to sell newspapers, he unexpectedly met his friend, Tina, the daughter of a school principal. Dani's jealousy appeared when she saw Tina dressed in a neat school uniform, complete with shoes and bag. However, he realized that he couldn't be like Tina. As usual, with extraordinary enthusiasm, Dani really did not feel tired even though the heat of the afternoon sun was felt on the skin. Dani is still enthusiastic and motivated to raise a lot of money so that he can continue his education and realize his dreams. Dani hopes that today he gets a lot of results in selling newspapers.
When Dani was crossing the street to chase people who wanted to buy his newspaper, suddenly a car nudged him. He fell to the side of the road and newspaper messed up. The woman who was driving the car got down and approached Dani who was still lying down. The woman scolded Dani who was still unconscious.
When Dani regained consciousness, he heard the woman scold him for crossing the street when the traffic was still green. In fact, Dani ran and crossed when the traffic light was red. Cars and motorbikes have stopped. Only Mother is still driving the car. Many witnesses saw that Dani was innocent.
Danny couldn't do anything. He just stared at his newspaper which had fallen and could not be sold anymore. Dani could only be silent when said to be the cause of the accident. Dani just resigned and hoped it wouldn't happen to him again. The lesson that can be drawn is not to blame people who are actually innocent.
Almost every red date or weekend, the city square of Bandung is always crowded with visitors. They are not only from the city of Bandung but also from other cities who want to see the splendor of the Bandung Grand Mosque with its synthetic grass. This weekend, my friends and I are planning to go to the Bandung city square just to sit on the artificial grass while enjoying a weekend in the city of Bandung.
Previously, my friends and I agreed to meet at the Bandung city square at 15.00 WIB. Because I had to arrive at the Bandung city square at 15.00 WIB, so I had to leave home an hour earlier to avoid traffic jams. I have been preparing since the morning.
I went to the city square of Bandung by using the city bus. On the bus there were only two empty seats in the back. I immediately took the empty seat. A few minutes later, there was a woman sitting next to me. Not long after, the bus stopped at a bus stop not far from the square. I immediately went down to rush to the mosque.
On the way to the mosque, I took my cell phone out of my bag to call my friends. When I was about to call my friends, suddenly my cell phone was taken by a pickpocket who was carrying his friend. I screamed for help but no one could help because they immediately stepped on the gas. I can only surrender my newly purchased cell phone just disappeared.
Finally I rushed to the mosque for Asr prayer and I met my friends there and told them what I had just experienced. The lesson from this incident is to remain careful and alert wherever you are because evil arises because of opportunity.
