25 Types of Affirmation Figures and Examples
Language Indonesia has a variety of languages that can not only be expressed through a sentence that directly states its true meaning. Indonesian also recognizes and uses a word/sentence that does not directly express its true meaning or purpose, which is called figure of speech. figurative or style language is a use of certain language richness in order to obtain a certain effect on a discourse or written work.

Definition
Affirmation figure of speech is a figure of speech or style language that repeats a word in order to emphasize something. Affirmation is expressed through the repetition of the same word but different meanings or words that are not exactly the same but the meaning is still related. This affirmation figure of speech is also known as repetition figure of speech.
The kinds of affirmation figure of speech are divided into 25 types, which are as follows:
1. Alliteration or Preterisio: figure of speech that aims to emphasize something by repeating the consonants at the beginning of the word in sequence.

2. Majas Alonim: figure of speech that uses another variation of the name of something as a form of affirmation.

3. Antanaclassic Majas: a figure of speech that emphasizes something by using the same word but with different meanings.

5. Apophasis Maj: a figure of speech that confirms about something in a way as if to deny the thing that is being asserted.

6. Asindeton Majas: figure of speech that emphasizes something by expressing a sentence/discourse without any connecting words.
- Example: In sadness, failure, adversity, I kept trying to continue the struggle until finally I managed to get a bachelor's degree.
7. Ellipsis: This figure of speech is expressed by eliminating one or several sentence elements, where the sentence elements should be in a complete sentence pattern.

8. Exclamation Majas: figure of speech that emphasizes something by using exclamation points.
- Example: Look, I'm still here waiting for the miracle to come.
9. Enumeration: a figure of speech that uses an expression in the form of a part by part description as a whole.

10. Interruption: figure of speech affirmation by using expressions in the form of allowance for additional information contained between sentence elements.

11. Inversion: figure of speech affirmation of something by putting the predicate at the beginning sentence.

12. Majas Climax: figure of speech that expresses something sequentially starting from simple things and continues to increase to complex things.

21. Rhetoric: figure of speech in the form of a question but actually does not require an answer because the question is only affirmative.

22. Sigmatism: figure of speech that emphasizes something by repeating the consonant "s" with the aim of giving a certain effect. This figure of speech is usually found in literary works such as poetry and prose.
