Me and the Lost Incident at the Foot of the Mountain
I'm still lost at the foot of the mountain. I have walked several times along the path at the foot of the mountain. But what the hell, what I met was not the top of the mountain, but instead returned to the same place; where I am now lost. I lost my mind too. I can only sit on a tree. At that moment I remembered why from this is my error.
At that time, I and my friends were arguing about the best way to get to the top of the mountain. My friends firmly said that the best way to the top of the mountain was to follow the route on the map.
Different attitude with me. I stupidly said that the road the map was pointing to was unfollowable. At that time I said that climbing by following the map is something that old school.“Anyway, for what the hell do we follow the map? we are right exploring nature. What we use that's it instinct; intuition; call of nature; not a map or a compass!” I joked at the time. Not wanting to argue any longer, I immediately rushed to leave them. I just followed the road that stretched along the foot of the mountain.
I myself am a spontaneous person; would rather follow my instincts than follow the guidelines or text book other. Likewise in terms of mountain climbing or other natural activities. I often disagree with my friends about how to get to the top of the mountain, or the most appropriate route to the beach, and other technical matters or how to get to a the place. Sometimes, this instinct of mine can lead me to the right route. But often I get bad luck for following my instincts.
Ah, I've been under this tree for almost an hour. And I haven't gotten an answer from my instincts yet, about what steps to take to get to the top of the mountain. The sound of the bushes then came from where I was sitting. I immediately panicked and prepared to run, in case it was a wild animal. When I was ready to run, suddenly a familiar figure appeared. god. Oh, it turned out to be Deva, one of my friends who joined this hike.
It turned out that he had been looking for me, because I never made it to the top of the mountain. After I asked Deva, it turned out that my other friends had reached the top of the mountain by following the map they brought. Without needing to talk for long, I finally followed the direction of Deva's steps and after a few hours, we arrived at the top of the mountain.
From this trip, I realized that sometimes we have to follow guidelines when we are on a journey.
