Cindelaras*

One day, there was a kingdom called the Jenggala Kingdom which was led by a king named Raden Putra. In leading his kingdom, the king was accompanied by a benevolent empress and an evil concubine. The king lived in harmony with the two women, before the concubine committed a bad act that damaged his kingdom. The concubine who has an envious nature wants to become the king's consort, and intends to get rid of the current king's consort.

To smooth the plan, the concubine also cooperates with a royal healer. The concubine carried out her plan by pretending to be sick in front of the king. The king who saw his sick concubine immediately called his court physician. The healer pretended to examine the concubine and then said that the concubine had been poisoned. Without a doubt, the healer also accused the king's consort of being the one who had poisoned the concubine. The king was angry. The empress was banished from the palace. The king also ordered the patih to take his empress to the forest to be banished and killed there.

The empress has also been brought by the patih to the forest. The empress had indeed been banished. However, the empress was not killed by the patih because he did not have the heart. In addition to not having the heart, the regent of work also knew about the evil plan of the royal concubine to the empress. Finally the patih put the empress into a hut in the forest and smeared his sword with blood. The sword was deliberately smeared by him so that he could convince the king that the empress had been killed by him.

Brief story, the empress who was exiled in the forest has given birth to a child named Cindelaras. Apparently, when the king was banished, the empress was in two bodies. Cindelaras also taught him to be a strong and kind boy.

One day, Cindelaras was finally able to meet the king who incidentally was his biological father. The meeting occurred when the king held a cockfighting competition, in which Cindelaras was one of the participants. Cindelaras who won finally got a prize from the competition, which was half of the king's kingdom. Before the gift was given the king asked who Cindelaras really was. The patih who was near the king and Cindelaras said that Cindelaras was the daughter of the empress.

The king was shocked and realized his mistake. Cindelaras and the empress were returned to the palace, while the concubine and the healer were punished by the king.
