3 Examples of Dramatic Poetry in Indonesian
Some examples of types of poetry already shown. This article will also present an example of one type of poetry, where the type of poetry is dramatic poetry. According to Prihantini (2015: 210), dramatic poetry is poetry that describes a person's behavior objectively, whether it is a description of a person's behavior, dialogue, or monologue. Letter A wife*

My husband who wanders
Tonight the moon is pale
Gray trees
Swinging, above the pale delusion.
And how gray is my face
because I know, my husband.
Coming Christmas Day
you can't go home.
How tasteless the house is
without the smell of your cigarette
and When rain rustling
I miss hearing your whisper
what I usually hear
when our cheeks meet
I've washed your pillowcase
and I have also bought
your favorite tobacco.
And I imagined
you sit in your chair
roll up nipah leaf cigarettes
while outside
days getting old.
Then came your letter
which only brings longing
but not your body.
I cried a little, my husband.

Under the Flying Glove*

Under the fluttering gloves the children go to bed
in the night. Their sleep is like sleep
the immortal. Sleep that is guarded and visited
a thin man with an arched back,
deep and sunken eyes.
“Long live the poor!” she screamed
while unfurling the sheath.
"Long live the sheath!" cried a woman,
Friend of the night, who diligently listens to the rain.
Then he played the piano, the old piano, against the man's chest.
"Your cough symphony, your sick notes,
Your classical music is melodious
all night long," comforted the girl
with half-closed eyes.

By the Lake*

For Titi Djulham
That night he turned 30 years old
The road by the lake, very harmonious
word people: “He has traveled the world
What region was not colonized?
But are you back now?”
His heart: “What region is not colonized
From love to love
Just sorrow."
Now it's back
Animal shot
Building a trail
To the place where the blood was first spilled
(His death is set in another valley. on another continent)
But no one knows
Not even cheered up
only water
swish
Knows himself a poet.
From the lake the fisherman called out:
“Hey, boy by the beach
What is the price of yarn?
in town now?
When are you going home?
The light is mirrored
Cold yellow
on the lake scales
Between forgetting and wanting
there is sorrow, there is twilight
In the valleys
dark already.
From the beach sounds in the heart
fisherman singing
