2.Deductive Paragraph

opposite from Inductive paragraphs, deductive paragraphs are paragraphs where the main sentence is at the beginning, and the explanatory sentence follows the main sentence behind it. Thus, we can also conclude that a deductive paragraph is a paragraph that is general to specific where the content of this paragraph is a discussion of a theme, starting from the general discussion to the parts the details. Example:

Waste plastic bottles can be recycled into more useful items. One of the useful items that can be produced from recycling used plastic bottle waste is hanging plant pots. How to make this pot is quite easy, where the way to make this pot is….

The italicized sentence in the deductive paragraph above is the main sentence of the paragraph, while the rest are explanatory sentences.

3.Inerative Paragraph

An inerative paragraph is a paragraph where the main sentence is located in the middle paragraph. Thus, this paragraph can be defined as a paragraph in which the main sentence is in the middle of the explanatory sentence. Example:

Lack of rest time at work makes the body easily tired and also susceptible to illness. That is why, we must not forget to take a break from work even if it is only for a short time. As for one of the tips for resting on the sidelines of work is to take advantage of office breaks for a short nap or lunch. If you are a freelancer, then you can arrange as many breaks as possible according to your needs and optimize them to the best of your ability.

4.Mixed Paragraph

If an inerative paragraph is a paragraph in which the main sentence is enclosed by an explanatory sentence, then this paragraph is precisely a paragraph in which the explanatory sentence is enclosed in sentence main. Thus, a mixed paragraph can be called a paragraph that has two main sentences located at the beginning and end of this paragraph. Example:

Working too hard can harm your health. As for some of these impacts, among others, the young body is tired and vulnerable to various kinds of diseases, ranging from mild to severe. Thus, we must not continue to work too hard because it will produce a bad impact.
