Before we give an example sentence together with the pattern, we will discuss a little about (S-P-O-K-Pel), namely:

  • Subject (S) – In a sentence the subject is the actor, person, character who performs a certain activity. Subjects can be objects, people, animals, etc.
  • Predicate (P) – It is a sentence element that states an activity is being carried out by the subject. The predicate is usually a verb, for example: cook, play, talk, run, cry, laugh, etc.
  • Object (O) – Is something that is subject to action/deeds by the subject. Just as the subject of the object is also a word objects, for example: house, father, clothes, etc.
  • Adverb (K) – In a sentence the adverb will explain how, where or when the event occurred.
  • instagram viewer
  • Complement (Pel) - Complement is an element of a sentence whose function is like an object, but what distinguishes it is that the complement cannot be changed into the subject of the passive sentence.
