4 Examples of Quint Poems in Indonesian
Some examples from some new kinds of poetry based on its shape has been featured in previous articles. These articles include: example of distikon poetry and example of adulterous poetry. This article will also show an example of one of the new types of poetry where the poem in question is a quint poem. This poem is a poem in which each stanza consists of five lines or lines. Example 2:
Teak Forest Dew*

Teak forest waiting for promise,
all day lonely,
when the caterpillars circle around.
Those high fingers
spread the sun.
The courtyard of the universe
is the palm of his hand.
Look up at the sky,
ask for dew and tears
wet the petals.
too long in the dark,
lonely crowd settled,
the wind is silent,
and the heat refuses to disappear,
shoots clasped together.
The snake's tongue sticks out
pandanus has aged,
marked with diamond sanur,
red and yellow blend,
through the ancestral forest.
I write on dry land,
falling leaves rustling,
past trough:
here, I will wait for you
until the end of my time.

Example 3:
Traveling Photographer*

His only goal is to take pictures
a poet he knew never liked
picture taken. He remembers bragging
a fortune teller: “Your twin will
ends in the face of a poet.”
Thus, with trembling hands,
he managed to steal the face of the silent poet
with the tutel. He is happy, meanwhile
the poet was stunned: “This is my face,
your face, or ours?”
Not long after that the itinerant potter
die. His temporarily stretched body
in a room whose walls dinding
full of photos of his work.
There is a photo of the poet. But there is no photo of him.
His relatives were confused. They didn't find
his portrait to display near his coffin.
"Enough, just use this photo," said one
of them while taking a photo of the poet.
“See, very similar, almost similar. Ha ha ha…."

Example 4:
Moon Bed, Bridal Bed

Moon bed, bridal bed
blue sky blue
supported by the hands of the ancestors.
Ground dog floundering
screaming passionately.
Moon bed, bridal bed
a hundred sails junk boat
in the lap of the sea asleep.
One by one star fall
sleepy imagining.
Moon bed, bridal bed
mambang and stealth kingdom
smoked intoxicating incense.
One by one dream
slammed on a rock rain.
Rajang moon, bridal bed
hard earth of life
colored with passion and hope.
Cultivated fields are worked on
seeds planted are fertilized.
