3 Examples of Short Descriptive Poems in Indonesian

Pool in the Yard²

The rotting leaves in the pond were still looking up at the branches of the orange tree that had given birth to them. He wished he could miss her. Will not forget that day before dawn rain carried by the wind spun it slowly, releasing it from the branch which was burdened with so many leaves that it kept trying not to sway. He no longer had time to watch the sun, which was always disappearing—appearing among the groves, which during the day expected moss to wrap around the stones and stick to the walls of the pool. There was something he felt was missing on the first day he lay in this pool, there was a valley of wind that he will no longer be able to feel it in the water that promises to rot him soon after substance which it contains seeps into its pores. There was a shimmer of the sun that he would never be able to live again whose rays of light loved to touch his warmth on the branches that only whispered when the wind passed without saying anything.
