Sentences of Approval, Disclaimer and Rejection

On past occasions, we have known types of sentences in Indonesian which is viewed from various sides. On this occasion, we will review several types of sentences pragmatically or according to the needs that are often used used to respond to the contents of the conversation in a discussion, namely approval sentences, rebuttal sentences, and sentences rejection.

Definition

a. Approval sentence

A sentence of agreement is a sentence that expresses agreement or disagreement. Generally, the sentence of approval is spoken in a conversation or conversation in a discussion. The approval sentence is intended to express an opinion in the form of agreement in a discussion to find a solution.

b. Sentence of rebuttal

b. Sentence of rebuttal

Example sentences of rebuttal or example of rebuttal is as follows.

1. Your opinion contradicts the facts so it is difficult to accept.
2. In my opinion, the opinion that says that our television shows are just for entertainment is not true. Teenagers watch television very often. The amount of time used is quite a lot to enjoy the cinemas. Thus, gradually the perception of a good teenager will be formed which is the personality of the teenager as he is watching. This perception will influence the behavior of adolescents in the future.*
3. The opinion that social media has a bad influence on teenagers because it is often used to bully schoolmates is not true. Media Social media can also have a positive influence on students because it can help students complete school projects assigned by the teacher.
4. In my opinion, not all comics or story illustrated is intended for children because there are not a few comics or picture stories that are intended for adults. Therefore, before buying comics or picture stories, it's a good idea to search information as much as possible about the comic or picture story in question.
5. In my opinion, letter The circular of the West Java KPID which limits the playing of foreign songs that are considered vulgar is not appropriate because not a few songs from their own country are also vulgar.
6. In my opinion, the opinion that ASN deserves a large salary so as not to commit extortion and corruption is not entirely true. Because until now there are still many ASN affected by KPK OTT in various regions.
7. In my opinion, Brother Rani's opinion is that we don't need to participate in basketball competitions because of the lack of qualified personnel being able to play basketball is not right because we still have friends who can play basketball like Rinto, Jono, and Doni.

c. rejection sentence

Example of a rejection sentence is as follows.

1. I do not agree with your opinion which states that a sense of inferiority is caused by an environment where the majority do not have high self-confidence. Because in my opinion, feeling of inferiority is caused more by one's incompetence and not because of environmental influences.
2. I do not agree with the statement that reading while lying down has something to do with minus eye disorders. Based on the opinion of medical experts, what causes minus eye disorders is not the result of the habit of reading while lying down but the lack of sufficient lighting. Insufficient lighting can cause the muscles to work too hard so that the eyes get tired and sore. This situation accelerates the onset of myopia disorders, especially in someone who has farsightedness.
3. In my opinion, what you say is not in line with the purpose of our original activity because by charging the participants the costs, the social value of this activity will be lost.
4. I don't agree with Rosa's opinion that the remaining class cash should be used for year-end class tours. It is much better to donate the remaining class cash to those in need.
5. I do not agree with the statement that a teacher's reprimand to his students is clear committing a mistake is a form of human rights violation, especially if the warning is delivered without violence oral nor physical. A teacher's reprimand to his students is like a parent's reprimand to his child. The reprimand given by a teacher or parent to their children is actually one of the efforts to educate children to become better human beings.
6. I do not agree with your opinion which says that community service activities in our complex are not necessary because there are already janitors. Community service in our complex is still needed as an effort to raise our awareness of the importance of working together and maintaining a clean environment.
7. I do not agree with giving gifts in the form of dolls for the bottle throwing game at the school bazzar due to limited funds. It would be nice if the gifts given were in the form of candy or other snacks because this event was fun together.
