Radi, Mr. Sofyan, and the heavy rain that hit
Radi is still in an angkot that goes to the campus where he is studying. As long as the angkot passed, the heavy rain continued to hit non-stop. Though, it was morning time, the usual time
relatively rarely rains. With anxious hope, Radi also said a prayer in his heart so that he would not be late for campus today. Radi is also willing if his body will be covered in water rain, if you have arrived at the campus later.Sure enough, Radi arrived on campus with raindrops all over his body. But Radi didn't care, and he still walked stiffly into the classroom. Ah, it's been abysmal, he muttered to himself.
Arriving in class, Radi found a scene that surprised him. How could I not, the classroom which was usually boisterous by the chirping of his friends suddenly became silent. None of his friends were there. If anyone was there, Pak Sofyan would be the one. The 39-year-old lecturer was already in class 15 minutes before Radi entered. After saying excuse me, Radi went into the classroom, and sat in the class chair to the right of the front which was his favorite seat.
“Sir, where are my friends, why aren't there? Isn't this the start of class time, right?" asked Radi.
"You haven't seen your Whatsapp, have you? Earlier they said that all of them would not come in today, because it was raining very hard today, so it was difficult for them to come here; to our class,” said Pak Sofyan.
"Oh yes, sir, I didn't check my Whatsapp earlier, because my cell phone was dead. I also want to charge the battery,” said Radi.
Radi also charges his cell phone using the charger which he plugs into the plug in the classroom. Fortunately, charge and Radi's cell phone is not as wet as his body. Because, he kept both in the innermost part of the bag. That way, he can charge his cell phone safely.
After plugging in charge into the plug or stop contact, Radi also continued the conversation with Mr. Sofyan.
"So, how about this lecture, sir? Will it continue or will it be cancelled?”
"In that case, you just leave it to Radi, how about that?"
Radi thought for a moment and finally he made a firm decision.
"Yes sir, let's just start this lecture. nope nothing i now i study alone. After all, if you go home again, it's useless, sir," said Radi.
"Good decision, son Radi. Come on, let's just start our lectures today," concluded Pak Sofyan with a cheerful face.
"Sir" then Radi said again "I want to ask, what makes you still excited to come and teach to this campus, while you know for yourself that it's raining so hard today? Besides, the distance from your house from this campus right quite far, just like the distance from Bandung to Jakarta.”
"Because you love this job," said Pak Sofyan curtly. At first glance, Pak Sofyan's positive aura appeared and began to seep into Radi.
Lectures began; the heavy rain has subsided.
