Pattern:

PU: if I meet him, I will return this book to him.
PK: I never met him.
K: I did not return this book.

The paragraph:

Today I will return this book to him if I ever meet him. Unfortunately, I never met him. I ended up not returning this book to him.

Pattern:

PU: if I win this competition, then I will treat my friends.
PK: I didn't win this competition.
K: I don't treat my friends.

The paragraph:

Before participating in the competition, I had made a vow to my friends that I would treat them if I won this competition. Unfortunately, I didn't even win this competition. Finally, I did not treat my friends.

Pattern:

PU: If it rains today, the clouds will be cloudy.
PK: cloud is not cloudy.
K: it's not raining today.

The paragraph:

If it rains today, the clouds will definitely become cloudy. However, as far as I can see, today's clouds aren't cloudy either. That means today will definitely not happen rain.

Pattern:

PU: If our picnic is done today, surely Ale will contact us.
PK: Ale didn't contact us.
K: our picnic today is not finished.

The paragraph:

Yesterday, Ale told me, if our picnic is today, Ale will definitely contact us. However, today Ale did not contact us at all. So, we can conclude that our picnic today will not happen.
