Example of Talibun Poem – Pantun is an old form of poetry that has rhythm and rhyme. Through rhymes, a valuable message is usually conveyed. Definition of Talibun rhyme

The talibun rhyme is a form of poetry old that has sampiran and contents. Talibun is identical with the number of rows which are even and more than 4 rows, for example 6 rows, 8 rows, 10 rows. If the talibun rhyme contains 4 lines, the first 2 lines are sampiran and the next 2 lines are contents. Likewise with the 6-line talibun rhyme, the first 3 lines are sampiran and the next 3 lines are contents. This rule applies to rhymes Talibun with any number of lines.

Characteristics of the Talibun Poem

Some of the special characteristics of the Talibun rhyme include:

  • Talibun has an even number of rows
  • Rhymes abc-abc, or abcd-abcd, according to the number of lines
  • Each row consists of 8-12 tribeword
