Example of Backdrop in a Short Story

There are various types of prose in languageIndonesia, for example all kinds of short stories, types of semi-scientific essays, types of scientific essays, and so forth. Roni still doesn't understand why today Gilang looks so annoyed with him. He didn't even want to say hello. Finally Roni tried to ask Jaka because he couldn't stand being silenced like this.

"What?! You don't know why Gilang is upset? Jaka looked surprised and didn't believe Roni's question.

With a slightly annoyed face, finally Jaka told him everything. Roni was surprised to hear Jaka's story. It turned out that all of this was the result of mistakes and negligence from Ron himself.

Yesterday, Roni was supposed to come to Gilang's house to participate in a futsal match in the field near Gilang's house.

"Oh my gosh, where's the kid?! It hasn't come at this hour yet,” Gilang looked very annoyed.

"Yeah, okay. We're just looking for a replacement. Instead of being disqualified just because we're late, Lang," Jaka suggested.

"Yes, but Roni has promised to come, Ka. He is the most needed striker in this team. His ability can make us win,” Gilang still wants to wait for Roni and hopes he will come soon.

"But it's almost started, Lang," Jaka reminded.

"Alright. Let's go. Humans like to be late like he can't be relied on,” Gilang gave up waiting for Roni who disappointed him.
