Ciung Wanara*

In an area in West Java, there stood a kingdom called the kingdom of Galuh. This kingdom was led by a wise king named King Barma Wijaya Kusuma. The king himself had two consorts, namely Nyimas Dewi Naganingrum, and Nyimas Dewi Pengreyep.

Once upon a time, Nyimas Dewi Pengreyep gave birth to a handsome boy. Some time ago, Nyimas Dewi Naganingrum also gave birth to a handsome son. Nyimas Dewi Pengreyep also helped the birth of one of the king's consorts. Deep down, Nyimas Pengreyep envied Nyimas Naganingrum. In fact, he had a plan to get rid of this one empress.

The evil plan begins. Unbeknownst to Nyimas Naganingrum, Nyimas Pengreyep exchanged Nyimas Naganingrum's child for a puppy. Suddenly, the entire palace environment was shocked, including the King.

Without a word, the king ordered his advisor to kill Nyimas Naganingrum and throw his body far away. The advisor was so heartless to kill one of the king's consorts. Finally, he decided to save Nyimas Naganingrum to a place that no one knew, other than him and the king's consort.

The original child from Nyimas Naganingrum had been dumped by Nyimas Pengreyep into the river by putting him in a basket. Nyimas Naganingrum's native child was picked up by a husband and wife who accidentally saw the basket containing the baby.

Long story short, the child grew up and was named Ciung Wanara. Ciung Wanara grew up to be a strong and dashing boy. Once upon a time, Ciung Wanara wanted to travel to the Galuh Kingdom. Both adoptive parents agreed to the wish.

Bringing his pet rooster, Ciung Wanara traveled to the Galuh Kingdom. Arriving there, he met two patih rajas who were interested in Ciung Wanara's rooster. The two patihs also pitted their chicken against Ciung Wanara's chicken. Ciung Wanara's chicken also managed to beat the two chickens belonging to the two patihs.

The two patihs reported to the king that there was a handsome young man who was good at cockfighting in the kingdom of Galuh. Moments after hearing information After that, the king also held a cockfighting competition with the lure of his half kingdom.

The competition began, and the king finally met Ciung Wanara who was none other than his biological son.
