1. Active Sentence
Is a sentence in which the subject element becomes the actor or performs an action. Like other sentences, this sentence also has a number of characteristics, namely:

1.1. Transitive Active Sentence
It is an active sentence whose subject is accompanied by a predicate and an object. The characteristics of transitive active sentences include:
- The subject is the actor who performs an action on the object.
- Can be changed into passive voice.

- The basic pattern is S-P-O.
Examples of transitive active sentences:
- Dad reads the newspaper. (S = Father, P = reading, O = newspaper)
- My father is repairing the roof tiles of the house. (S= Dad, P= repairing, O= critical)
1.2. Intransitive Active Sentence
A sentence whose subject is only accompanied by a predicate, complement, or adverb. The characteristics of this sentence are as follows:
- Cannot be changed into passive voice.
- The predicate has an affix to-, to-, to to, and kan.
- The basic sentence pattern is S-P-Pel or S-P-K.
Examples of intransitive active sentences:
- Children play badminton. (S= children, P= play, Mop= badminton)

1.3. Semitransitive Active Sentence
Semitransitive active sentences are sentences whose subject is followed by a predicate and a complement, where the characteristics of this sentence are:
- Cannot be converted into passive voice.

Examples of semitransitive active sentences:
- Mr. Andre is now the new RT Chair. (S= Mr. Andre, P= now a member, Pel= the new head of RT)
- His eyes were filled with tears. (S = Eyes, P = tears, Mop = tears)
1.4. Dwitransitive Active Sentence
Is a sentence whose subject is accompanied by a predicate, and two objects, where the first object is an object (O), and the other object is a complement (pel). The characteristics of this sentence are:
- The basic sentence pattern is S-P-O-Pel.
- The predicate is abundant right.
Examples of dwitransitive active sentences and their patterns:
- Dad bought Dani a new bike. (S= Father, P= buy, O= Dani, Mop= new bike)

1.5. Ekatransitive Active Sentence
The opposite of an extratransitive active sentence, this sentence is an active sentence that only has one object. This sentence pattern is the same as the transitive active sentence, namely S-P-O. However, in transitive active sentences, complementary elements (P) or adverbs (K) cannot be added, unlike transitive active sentences.
