This extranet can also be interpreted as an intranet of a company that is extended to users outside the company. Companies that build this extranet will be able to exchange large volumes of data using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

But hosting an extranet on that page on your server requires a very expensive high bandwidth internet connection.
Security
Firewall security is a necessary addition if you host extranet pages on your own server which results in complex security mechanisms and also increases the workload.
Accessing Issues
Information cannot be accessed without an internet connection. However, the information can be accessed on the Intranet without the need for an internet connection.
Decreased interaction
reduce the face (display) with face interaction in the business which causes a lack of communication between customers, business partners and also suppliers (suppliers).
