Definition of the Bay
The bay is part of the body of water that juts into the mainland which is bounded by land on three sides. Its strategic location makes this bay widely used as a port. This bay is the opposite of a headland, and generally both can or can be found on the same coastline. The bay is part of the island which is located on the edge of the sea, with geographical conditions in the form of a basin and protrudes on both the left and right sides or only partially and exceeds the existing seafront surrounding.
Around this bay, many piers have also been built, namely as bridges to be able to connect the ship with the island.
