5 Pancasila Formulas in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution

Now we will discuss the 5 formulations of Pancasila in the opening of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945. As we already know, the basis of the Indonesian state is Pancasila. 1945 Constitution

Pancasila is the basis of the philosophy of the Republic of Indonesia. Pancasila is the result of a mutual agreement with the founding fathers of the nation which was then made a noble agreement for the Indonesian nation. Before Pancasila was official, there were formulations of Pancasila from various formulations, namely in the Jakarta Charter, the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, the 1949 Preamble of the KRIS, and the 1950 Preamble to the 1950 Constitution.

After Indonesia's independence on August 17, 1945, the next day the Preparatory Committee for Indonesian Independence (PPKI) held a meeting to equip the state equipment like an independent country. On August 18, 1945 PPKI held a meeting to refine and refine the Constitution, now called the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945).

In the 1945 Constitution which has been ratified by PPKI, there are two parts, namely the opening and the stem body of the Constitution which contains 37 articles, 1 transitional rule consists of 4 articles, 1 additional rule consists of 2 paragraph. In the 1945 Constitution there are 4 paragraphs and the fourth paragraph contains the formulation of Pancasila.

5 The formulation of Pancasila in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which is legal as the basis of the Indonesian state:

Belief in the one and only God.
Just and civilized humanity.
The unity of Indonesia.
Democracy led by wisdom in deliberation/representation.
Social justice for all the people of Indonesia.

The 5 formulations above are the basis of the Indonesian state as stated in the preamble to the 1945 Constitution which is valid and recognized. This formulation is correct because it has a constitutional position and is also legalized to represent the entire Indonesian people, namely PPKI and agreed by the entire Indonesian nation.

Previously there were several figures who also had opinions about the formulation of Pancasila. These figures include Dr. Suepomo, Muh Yamin and Ir Suekarno.

Dr. Suepomo in the formulation of the basic state consisting of unity, kinship, outer and inner balance, deliberation, people's justice.

Muh Yamin in the formulation of the basic state which consists of Belief in One Supreme God, National Unity of Indonesia, a Just Sense of Humanity and Civilized, Democracy led by wisdom in deliberation of representatives, Social justice for all people Indonesia. This formulation is almost the same as Pancasila today.

Ir Suekarno in the formulation of the basic state consisting of Indonesian nationality or nationalism, internationalism or humanity, consensus or democracy, social welfare, and divinity. The formula that was conveyed by Sukarno on June 1, 1945 is known as the birth of Pancasila. Ir Suekarno also gave the name Pancasila, which means the five foundations for building the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
