Place for photosynthesis

This is a process of processing or producing food from carbon dioxide (CO2) through stomata and water into starch with the help of light energy. In dicot plants, photosynthesis occurs in the palisade parenchyma tissue, while in monocot plants photosynthesis occurs in sponge tissue.

As a means of respiration

Inside the leaves there are stomata whose function is to breathe or as a respiratory organ.

Vegetative reproductive organs

Regulates the transpiration process

This is the process of evaporation of water in the leaves through the leaf mouth or stomata and cuticles on the surface of the leaf and more on the underside of the leaf. However, what can reduce evaporation is the cuticle on the surface of the leaves.

Namely the place where liquid or water comes out in the form of droplets.
