A transistor is an electronic component that is useful for strengthening, being a circuit breaker, connector, voltage stability, and others. The function of this transistor is to act as an electrical faucet which is based on voltage from the input by allowing the transfer of electricity to be accurate with the source from the source electricity.

Become an electronic switch
By adjusting the bias in the transistor until the transistor is saturated, there will be a short circuit with the connector and emitter, this is what becomes the switch.

Types of Transistors
Transistors have several types or types, initially there were only 2 types of transistors, namely biopolar transistors (BJT) and Field-Effect Transistors (FET) with different ways of working. Here is the explanation:
Biopolar Transistor (BJT)
This transistor is so named because it has an induction channel with 2 polarities which carries electron and hole charges which are useful for carrying electric charge or current. In this BJT the main electric current must be able to pass through an area or layer which is a barrier with a name depletizone and it has a layer thickness that can be adjusted at high speed to regulate the current flow mainly.
Field-Effect Transistor (FET)
This transistor is called a unipolar transistor because it uses only one type that carries charge (electrons or holes only depends on the type of FET). In the FET, the main electric current enters a narrow conduction channel with a depletion zone on either side. By having a thickness that is in the border area and can be changed by changing the voltage it provides with the aim of changing the thickness of the conduction channel.
