  • There is a heavy and excessive workload
  • Unfair and reasonable pressure and attitude from superiors
  • Inadequate work time and tools
  • Interpersonal conflicts with leaders or work groups
  • Fees that are too low
  • Family problems such as children, wife, in-laws and others.

According to Robbins (2008:370) There are three potential categories that trigger work stress, namely:

Environmental factor

Environmental factors can be divided into three parts, including:

  • In addition to influencing the design of the company's structure, environmental uncertainty also affects the stress level of employees in the company. Changes in the business cycle create economic uncertainty.
  • Political uncertainty also triggers stress among employees
  • Technological change can also be stressful, because new innovations that can take the same form of other technological innovations are a threat to many people and stress them out.

Company Factors

Company factors are divided into three parts, including:

  • Task demands are factors related to one's job, including individual job design, working conditions and job physical layout.
  • Role demands are the overload experienced when employees are expected to perform more roles than are available at the time
  • Interpersonal demands are pressures created by other employees, the absence of support from friends and poor interpersonal relationships can be a cause of stress.

Personal Factors

This personal factor is related to family problems, personal economic problems and also the personality and character that exists in a person. Various difficulties in marriage, broken relationships and difficulties with discipline problems with children is a relationship problem that becomes a stressor for employees which then carries over to the place Work.
