Definition of Organizational Commitment
Organizational commitment is an attitude or behavior of a person towards the organization in the form of loyalty and the achievement of the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Someone can be said to have a high commitment to the organization, can be known by looking at the characteristics including trust and acceptance a strong sense of the goals and values of the organization, a strong will to work for the organization and a strong desire to remain a member organization.

According to Juniarari (2011) states that the benefits of organizational commitment are:

Effective Commitment

Continuance Commitment

Normative Commitment
This commitment leads to feelings of employees where they are obliged to remain in the organization due to pressure from others. Employees who have a high level of normative commitment will pay close attention to what others say about them when they leave the organization. They don't want to disappoint their boss and are worried that their co-workers will think badly of them because of the resignation.
Organizational Commitment Indicator

Individual Personal Characteristics
Personal characteristics are divided into two variables, namely demographic variables and dispositional variables. Demographic variables include gender, age, marital status, educational level and length of time a person has worked in an organization. While the dispositional variables include, personality and values owned by members of the organization. This dispositional variable has a stronger relationship with organizational commitment, because there are different experiences of each member in the organization.
Organizational Characteristics
The characteristics of the organization are: organizational structure, policy design within the organization and how the organizational policies are disseminated.
Organizational experience
