Human Respiratory Tool and Its Functions – The air in this world is infinite. Air is very important for life in this world, if there is no air, I don't know what will happen to life in this world.

In the air there are many substances contained in it, including oxygen. Oxygen is produced by plants as a result of photosynthesis. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen which is useful for other living things. What exactly is oxygen?

Human Respiratory Tool and Its Functions

Oxygen is a substance that comes from the results of photosynthesis carried out by plants. Oxygen in the human body is to meet the needs of the body's metabolism. Humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Oxygen is very important needed by the body, what happens if our breathing is disturbed, we will definitely have trouble. The following are the respiratory organs in the human body.

Respiratory Equipment In Humans

Respirators are very important for humans because from these tools humans can breathe air which will later be circulated throughout the body. For more details about the respiratory system in humans can be explained as follows.

1. Nose

The nose is a part that we often see clearly because it is located on the outside of the body. Function The nose is the first respiratory organ through which air passes. A normal nose has 2 holes as a place for air to enter and exit.

At first glance, these holes are the same size, but both have different volumes of air intake. There are large volume channels and small volume channels. Inside the nose there are fine hairs and mucus which are useful for filtering all the air that will enter because the air that enters is not all clean, there are some impurities that linger such as pollution, dust and etc.

2. pharynx

The pharynx or throat is the respiratory tract after the nose which has a base at the larynx. Function pharynx as a place for air to enter and exit and also as a place for food and drink to enter and exit.

In order not to experience mistakes when inhaling or expelling air, this throat will close the entrance to eating and vice versa. Inside the pharynx there are vocal cords as a human tool to make sounds as a means of communication.

3. Larynx

The larynx is the base of the throat which functions as a deterrent to the entry of foreign objects into the human respiratory system which is surrounded by cartilage. Function The larynx is also a place to swallow incoming food for further processing.

4. Trachea

The trachea is composed of cartilage that runs from the neck to the chest. The trachea has a mucous membrane covering it which is in the form of rings with up to 20 rings. Function The lining of the mucous membranes in the trachea acts as a barrier to dirt from the air that also enters through the nose so that it does not continue to enter the lungs.

5. bronchi

Bronchus has two parts whose parts are in the right lung cavity and in the left lung. Bronchi have cartilage with smooth muscles and small branches called bronchioles. Function The bronchi are the connecting media between the trachea and the lungs.

6. Bronchioles

Bronchioles are small fine branches that are present in the bronchi. The branch of the bronchioles, the farther the branches, the smaller, finer and thinner the walls are. Function The bronchioles are the part that connects air containing oxygen to enter the lungs. All bronchial branches end in alveoli.

7. Pulmo

Pulmo or lungs are an important part of the human respiratory system. Function From the lungs, this is the recipient of oxygen, then processes the oxygen, then releases carbon dioxide and water vapor that is not needed by the body. After oxygen enters, it is processed by the lungs and circulated through the blood throughout the body. The lungs are located in the chest and are protected by the ribs.

8. alveoli

Alveoli are in the heart and function as a separator for oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood. Function from the alveoli is as a distributor of oxygen which is processed by the lungs throughout the body.

Thus the explanation regarding Human Respiratory Tool and Its Functions what we should know, more or less we apologize. We as humans must continue to take care of every member of our body so that we don't get sick easily. Hopefully useful, thank you 🙂
