Short Story Writing Tips

  • Find Motivation to Write

Perhaps the motivation is wanting to share inspiring life experiences. Maybe to criticize customs that are no longer suitable for modern times. Maybe also to pour out the contents of the heart so as not to smile alone.

  • Select the Appropriate Theme

We can determine the appropriate theme by considering several things:

    • Master the theme.
    • Not too familiar with the theme, but willing to try to explore it by asking questions and seeking information.
    • This theme is indeed a plan .
    • This theme is very important in though so that readers can learn wisdom.

Beginner writers should choose an easy theme first. For example, a theme that is in accordance with the life experiences of oneself and those closest to them. It could also be a theme raised from the local culture that has been mastered. In essence, do not choose a theme that is too difficult for yourself. It is guaranteed that the short story will not be finished or finished but will fall apart.

  • Determining the Number, Name, Nature and Role of Figures

The name of the character should be determined first so that it is easier to plan the next stage later. Character traits and roles, for example who is the main character and minor character; who is bad and who is good; who has the problem and who helps solve the problem.

  • Creating a Clear Storyline

Beginner writers may need to make a storyline first before writing. There are three types of grooves:

    • Flow forward: yesterday-today-tomorrow; Event A causes B, B causes C.
    • Backtrack or flashback: today- yesterday-then
    • Mixed groove: a combination of forward and reverse grooves. I suggest novice writers not to use this flow because it's a bit complicated.

Write down the main events that form the framework of the short story, for example like this:

    • Introduction of the characters: names, ages, habits, occupations, physical characteristics.
    • Introducing the problem or theme faced by the characters
    • The efforts of the characters to find a solution to the problem or theme of the short story
    • The complexity of the problem
    • Solution to problem
    • Closing: can be a conclusion to a problem solution, a cover that is deliberately left "hanging", or a surprise.

  • Choose a Viewing Angle

Viewpoints are usually divided into two.

First person: "I"
    • On the positive side: freedom to express what is in the heart/inner feelings of the character “I am, free to retell personal experience that inspires short stories and involves the reader's feelings to "enter" inside story
    • The negative side: less freedom to tell the inner feelings of other characters
Third person (as the observer/director who plays the puppeteer)
    • On the positive side: freely expressing the feelings and opinions of all characters, suitable for telling stories that are experienced by other people (not the author himself)
    • Negative side: less freedom to tell the main character's feelings/contents (easier to use "me")

  • Beautifying Short Stories with Literature

Short stories are literature. According to KBBI, literature is "a literary work whose content and form are very serious, in the form of an expression of the experience of the human soul which is drawn from life then designed and arranged with a beautiful language as a means so as to achieve the aesthetic requirements that tall".

The beauty of language can be created through various elements:

    • sound play (as in poetry and rhymes)
    • repetition of words with their equivalents so that they are not boring (so that they are not monotonous)
    • beautiful dialogue between characters
    • rhetorical question
    • the use of words that are rarely used in everyday conversation
    • the use of foreign words or words from regional languages that attract the reader's attention
    • the use of symbols in telling characters and events

  • Define Title

Cool short story titles include:

    • Short, no more than 4 words.
    • Can only one word but very enchanting.
    • Could be the main character of the short story
    • To attract the interest of readers/editors, you can use words or names that are rarely used in daily conversation (can be foreign language words or regional language words).

Examples of Motivational Short Stories

Motivation is a dream that has meaning with the words motivation, so that with motivation to make enthusiasm in carrying out all activities.

Motivational short stories are sometimes the work of someone in carrying out all activities so that they can do them calmly and firmly. Apart from that, examples of short stories of motivation are hopes and missions to achieve what you want.

My Dreams are As Wide as Mud

By Irma Kinanthi

This morning was no different from the previous days, the distinctive aroma was still there. I call it special because the scent is like a sword piercing the body. Indeed, the aroma is piercing, piercing the sense of smell and don't imagine it smells like cooking in five-star hotels. It smells like fart more like the smell of sulfur. Though I hope there is a change this morning.

I live here, in a bustling, busy city and of course there is a sea of mud which smells amazing. Before, my city was not like this, my city was wide, not muddy, and the people did not get angry easily like now.

Every afternoon I play kite on the edge of the embankment, the wind is quite strong, my kite flies high. But this time I was unlucky, my kite broke off and disappeared in an instant, swallowed up by the foaming mud. That's a sign that I have to go home because dusk has arrived. Actually my house is not far from where I was playing kite earlier, but again because of the expanding mudflow, our family and I had to move.

One day my father looked very angry, not because I was naughty nor because I had a fight with my mother. At first I didn't know why, but my parents said they were angry because of justice issues. I increasingly do not understand the meaning of his words, maybe because I'm not old enough. After I left the house, I could see from afar rows of people shouting loudly, as fiery as my father earlier. I wanted to get closer to the crowd of people but my mother forbade me and it's not appropriate for my age to watch things like that. I then thought, whether justice can hinder my ideals? Can justice remove mud and make you not angry? Ah, I don't know if that's an adult problem.

Today I got a surprising question from my teacher, this is the question, "Amir, what do you think the ideals are?" I was silent for a moment then replied, "Dreams are like a pencil, if we want to achieve it then we have to try and work hard like sharpening a pencil in order to become pointed. But if we don't take it seriously, our chances will even get smaller and vanish like a pencil the days are getting shorter and even disappear. But the question is whether I can achieve my goals That? I feel hindered by nature because nature has sent mud that makes parts of my life untidy. I'm desperate and I think I'm starting to catch a disease that undermines the people of my city, of course, blood-borne disease.

In the afternoon my father also asked me about my goals but this is a different question. He asked how high I wanted to be, of course I immediately replied, “Of course just as high as the sky sir!” But he laughed instead, I was surprised by him even though the answer was correct. Father then said, “Mir, you tell me that sky-high aspirations are just empty sayings. For children of mud like you, the ideal is as wide as mud." I'm confused by the talk father, then father continued, "Look at the mud that's submerging our house, it's getting bigger and bigger every day. It could be the ocean! So according to you, make those words of encouragement that are in accordance with the facts!” I immediately ran to my old house which was no longer visible because it was submerged in mud. Here I contemplated, contemplated what my father said and finally I agreed with him.

I don't know how long this mud will overflow, I don't know how wide this mud will be, but I will always try spread my wings, show the world even though I'm just a child of mud and I will show that my ideals as wide as mud.

Faddilatusolikah's work

The thick black mist phosphoresed in the creator's sky. Cold air penetrates through the pores of wrinkled skin that holds a thousand history. A simple hut is a silent witness to the theatrics of life. Sometimes there is laughter and sometimes there is sorrow.
"Kreeeeek cloudy morning, I hope our spirits will never be cloudy" Hope an old widow behind the cubicle.
"Yes, I hope today will be better than the previous days," said a teenage girl who was engrossed in arranging her cake wares. Yes, let's call it auntie. Tanti is a teenage girl who never gives up. Even though he only lives with his mother and younger brother named tio. Tanti is already feeling grateful and happy. At least he feels happy still has a family and a place to live. Even though it's not as luxurious as a five-star hotel, Tanti always instills "Baiti Jannati" as taught by the Prophet SAW.
***

"Tanti,.." Tanti nervously stepped to the front of the class. His heart was pounding like a horse race. "Congratulations! Keep up the enthusiasm and keep on improving your achievements," said Mrs. Diana, a physics teacher. Tanti gave a smile. "Thank you, O ALLAH, I hope I can be even better," Tanti muttered to herself.
Tanti did not come from a wealthy family. But the intention imprinted in his mind was so strong. Just a few more months to face the national final exam. It's a heavy burden now on his shoulders. It's not a matter of the subjects being tested but a problem of the cost of the exam. Of course, it's not the exam fee, because Auntie has received a scholarship from her school. But my sister, who is now in 3rd grade in junior high school, is not as lucky as me. Tio was indeed not a lazy child. But his ability to remember subject matter is not as sensitive as Tanti's memory.
***

That evening it rained so heavily. The leaky roof of Tanti's house seemed to have allowed rainwater to penetrate it.
"Huk...huk...huk...huk.huk..bruuuuuaaaaak" the thin body lay limply on the floor.
"Maaaaaaak...maw why mom...hikz..hikz..hikz" screamed hysterically auntie and her sister collided with the sound of thunder rain.
“Pleaseoooooooooong….be patient, mom…” she shook her mother's body.
"Maaakma why mom???"Tio did not want to stay silent. He immediately ran outside looking for help. Even though my aunt forbade it because the rain was still heavy but tio kept walking and didn't pay any attention to auntie.
"Nduuk,, humans are not eternal. Everything that is alive will surely die. I'm sorry for all my mistakes if for tomorrow and so on I can't accompany you. Be a mother and father to your sister. I know this will be a heavy burden for you. Ma-ma-ma'aff kan e-e-ma'nduk,, LA-I-LA-HA-ILLALLAAAH MU-HAM-MADUR-ROSULULLAAH "Slowly my mother's eyelids closed.
“EEEMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaak………………….ya Alloooh..emaaak….in-nalillahii ,,hikz-hikz-hikz,, wa-innaillaihi roji'un…”Tanti hugged her mother's body tightly. Hoping this was all just a bad dream for him. He saw his sister outside the house running towards their house.
"Miss auntie... Come on, let's take your mother to the hospital, I've asked P. Ahmad for help," Tio said breathlessly.
“No need tio. Mother has passed away in HIS lap," Tio's heart jolted to hear that his mother had died. Tio's body shivered. He spread his feet on the floor. "Innalillahi wainnailaihi raji'un..."
***

A few months after the death of her mother, Tanti kept trying to keep her dream to be able to continue studying at university. And that morning he heard the happy but heartbreaking news.
"Duuuooorglamun sis," Tio's snap startled Tanti.
"ihhh you are yo,, habit dech ,,"
"What's wrong sis? tell me a story...don't assume tio is like other people.."
"Hmmm, you're welcome, you're joining UI and today's announcement is coming, and" I'll be quiet for a moment.
"Then why are you sad? you should be happy brother
"But if you're in college, the burden of living will definitely increase, and Tio's still in high school, right?"
"Sis (tio looked at his brother sharply), sis at the funeral of Tio's mother had promised in front of mother's grave that tio will try to give the best. cost problems and tio's living needs will be bear it."
“but this big brother has more responsibility tio…”
"Sis,, Tio is a boy and in this world the second woman that Tio loves the most after mother is sister... Tio will work hard for brother's tuition fees and for tio's school fees. Sis, don't worry, Tio won't drop out of school. Because you are my biggest encouragement tio”
Auntie is just silent. Her tears didn't seem to want to stop flowing. Not tears of pain, but tears of joy. Tanti is grateful to have a sister who loves her so much. He hugged his sister "no matter what, tio can't work hard alone. now it's just us both of us.so it's hard to be happy together.tio work hard, my brother will work hard.we fight with you"
Tio smiled and whispered "before the end of my term I will always take care of you and do the best for you..."

Meaningless

By Ulfa Tapani

The sound of a car engine rattling the windows of the house. Disturbing the busyness of two wooden objects that were talking in the room.
"Who's coming?"
"I don't know, at least the ladies who want to have a social gathering..."
"Ohh,, fortunately I've beautified myself,"
"Watch out, watch out, it looks like they want to approach us,"
"Ah, look at their big bodies, I'm sure their buttocks are big, ahaha,, surprise for you !!"

I'm speechless. Ah, it's too bad I have to have guests like them today, if only I had legs that could run, there will be no doubt in my mind to run away right now, this minute, this second, as soon as possible!
“Wait, they will praise me soon..”
"It's not weird anymore, you don't brag, I'm more useful to them .."
“Oh, yeah? haha… They're happy, you're suffering, aren't you? Haha..Many years I side by side with you, many years I also witnessed your misery, I've never seen you beautifully decorated like me, with vases filled with fresh flowers, with delicious snacks, fresh drinks, and what's your dish? People's butt huh? Ha ha ha.."

I never wanted to respond to his insults. Why do I reply, anyway, he always knocks me down, the arrogant table.
"Oh, this table is so beautiful decorated with fresh flowers, where did you get these flowers? It's so beautiful, I like it..”
It's not strange, it's not strange for me they say that. Maybe for the hundredth time. A moment later, other mothers came jostling into the house. Apparently, their large bodies made it difficult for them to enter the house which did have a fairly small doorway. I know, their big butts will soon crush me. One..two..and,, aww,, sure enough, in an instant my body was covered with those buttocks.

One of the mothers who was pressing on my body for a moment lifted her buttocks slightly and heard a sound "dduuuttt ..". In an instant, the air that had been so fresh, was suddenly polluted with a very, very nose-piercing odor. Those who were sitting a little further away started to cover their noses. Imagine, even a long distance makes them cough and almost vomit, and me? The distance is so very close, what's a better word than nausea? I feel the most rotten smell that. Mother just grinned, really, innocent face! If only I had a mouth, I would spit my whole body out! Unlucky !
"Ha ha. I didn't expect that Mother would do such a ridiculous thing, so ridiculous! Be thankful you don't have a sharp nose to breathe that smelly air. Poor old chair...”
"Humans really don't know the ethics of friends, doesn't their religion teach about manners? Do you know table, my mate, that good manners are precious in God's sight, at least, they know the manners of visiting, I am amazed at this human being, they study religion but don't put it into practice."
“Yes, you are absolutely right. Ah, I don't care about them, anyway, I don't lose, you lose, right? You always get the rock! Ha ha "
"You are like that, hi table really I just want to share knowledge with you"

My partner has never paid attention to my opinion, but that's okay, at least I can share my knowledge with him, even though he never cared. I peeked out the window, there were lots of small children picking leaves carelessly.
"Look at those kids!"
"So what? There is something wrong?"
“Of course, look, they pick the leaves carelessly, why try? They just tear up the leaves, then throw them away, they are not satisfied if the land has not become a mountain of garbage! “
“Ah, never mind, you're always like that, let them do what they want. They will bear the consequences themselves. “
“But, why don't they ever pay attention to us? Their environment? Aren't you sad? Hah? After all, if a disaster occurs, such as a flood, we will also be affected, right? Not only them, they can escape, but us? They don't care about us."
“You're right. But what power, we can't possibly talk to them.”
"God had other plans for it!"

Shut up. The table is silent. I hoped that was a sign of understanding in my words. Noisy. The atmosphere of this house is like a market. Mutual conversations. Most talk about "Where did you buy those shoes?" "How much does it cost?" "Can you get a discount or not?"
"Ah, the atmosphere of this house is very noisy!" said the table.
“Yes, you're right, they just collect sins here. Since then, I haven't heard anyone talking about religion. Maybe something like "When can we carry out the Tabligh Akbar in our village?" "Routine lectures, and so on." Though it will be very useful for them. In fact, they are here to build friendly relations, not to gossip about people or talk about things that are not important. It's a waste of this meeting if it's only going to knit sins without cleaning it up."
"Hmm, hmm, just keep on lecturing like that, no matter how loud, they won't be able to hear it!"
"Just you wait, God will definitely give a signal through us, until the humans wake up."
"Yes, yes, it's up to you!"
“Look at that, the kids come in,”
"Wow, look at that one, his body is huge, his cheeks sway when he runs, his strength is very strong, be careful, danger threatens you! you're old, maybe
"What??"
"No ah, not so .." said the table with a sinister smile.

The children were running here and there, making the atmosphere change. What used to be like a market atmosphere now resembled a World War. The voices of these children echoed, to the corners of the room, things vibrated under their footsteps, especially that fat child. No, I've been in this house for years, and indeed now I'm old, my body likes to sway when I sit on it and my history might be over if that fat kid steps on me.
Yes, watch out!! hide there! Run! Wow, it's fun watching that kid too. Hey, old chair, you know our difference, right? They prefer to approach you than me, they will not hurt me because if they hurt me, they will suffer the consequences. Their skin will turn blue after getting hit hard, from the corners of my body!”
“We are indeed different, but we have to complement each other friends. God, created us in pairs, chairs with tables, books with shelves, cupboards with clothes, and no doubt they filled each other's emptiness. Won't you be side by side with me? All these years I was with you, trying to make you a table that is authoritative in the eyes of humans, a useful inanimate object. We have utility, without us, they humans will never be prosperous, they will not be able to write comfortably if there is no table, they will not be able to sit comfortably if there are no chairs. Thank God who has destined us to be creatures that are useful for every human being.."
“Aaarrgghhttt, old chair! Can't you just shut up for one day? Don't you realize that every minute you always say cliche words, regarding humans who can't protect us, their environment. How many times must I say? No matter how loud you talk, they won't be able to hear us, pay attention to us, you know that right? You stupid chair!”
“Then, what can we do to wake them up? Hah? Apart from signaling to them,
"What gesture?? So what do you want? Hah? Do you want this to be proud of? Are you jealous of me??"
“Astagfirulloh, shirk is an act of satan! I never felt like that, I accepted my destiny to be sat on, fondled, trampled, I never complained, all this time I just want to give you advice so that you become creatures who are good at gesturing, God knows what we feel, If you felt the way I feel, what would you do other than signal the humans to watch over us with Good??"
"All the years I've been with you, only the advice and advice you gave didn't make me understand what a sign means, the residents of this house have often dirty us but what can we do? I'm tired, if I have to keep listening to your lecture !!”

Shut up. Maybe this is how I respond. All this time I always hope that humans can protect the environment. I know, global warming is currently hitting Indonesia. The heat of the king of the afternoon that burns the body, is so ferocious that it makes the leaves dry, the air is stuffy, the dust settles on my body. For me, humans are the cause, if only they wanted to make savings, go green and so on, I'm sure the world wouldn't be like it is today.
“To be honest I want to help rebuild awareness in humans”
"How to?? can you?? “
“Nothing is impossible if God wills, He will make our mouths speak according to His will. I'm sorry for the mini ala which is getting damaged day by day. I entrust my responsibility to you, if my body can no longer support a human's body, take good care of yourself!”

The atmosphere is still very lively. The children were still with their weapons, running around, hiding, tiptoeing, they were approaching. The fat kid looks very agile, his strength is so great that he defeats his opponent. he ran and kept running. The distance is getting closer to me. His steps getting closer, he jumped high and then climbed on me and ..
"GUBBRAKKKK.." My body is broken already, my body that is already decrepit is broken into pieces. This body is already destroyed. Seeing my condition, the atmosphere of the house was suddenly quiet because of the sound of the child's fall. The child was crying loudly from the pain. Poor kid. While the table just silent to see me who is now helpless.
"I never thought it would be like this my friend .." this is the first time I heard him say "my friend" to me,
"Why?" I ask
"So you're really going to leave me?"
"Of course.."
"Ja,, so,, so, there will be no one to advise me anymore?"
"Isn't that what you want?"
“If I had tears, I would shed them right now. I really don't like you giving me too much advice, but really I will feel lost, I don't have friends, like you.. come on can you put your body together again?”
“Impossible, I was destined to be like this, friend, every beginning, there must be an end, every life, there must be death. You don't have to be sad mate."
"I promise I will follow your advice, listen to your advice, I promise!!"
"I have enough advice, thank you for listening to me .."

Two men came carrying my body, took me to the warehouse where the damaged goods were stored. The table screamed.
"Don't!! don't take my friend, O human!! I can't be without it! oh my god what could I do without it? What's the point of a table without chairs? Lord, I beg you, let me speak to them, let me scream right now, Lord what should I do??? “

The atmosphere that had been bustling suddenly quiet, gradually people began to leave the house. Quiet, scary.
“I'm still moaning here, come on give me back the chair, I can't live without it, what's the meaning of me? What does me mean? I'm really meaningless…”

I Want To Memorize Al-Qur'an

Short story by Diah Ayu Fatmawati

The morning sky was so mesmerizing. In his mind he always imagined, that the stars in the sky were chanting, praying for his people who were carrying out worship. The moon feels so beautiful in peace of mind. Since childhood his mother always taught him to study the Koran. Her mother carefully taught her the letters in the Koran reading so that Fatma could understand the reading of the Koran. He aspires to be able to memorize 30 juices in the Qur'an so that he can make his mother proud.

Fatma lives with her mother and sister, Fatma also has a father, but for 10 years she has never been home or given news to her family. I don't know where... So now the backbone in his life is his mother. Therefore, Fatma really respects her mother.
Exactly at 2 o'clock fatma pray midnight, where the angels are praying and chanting. In his prayers he wanted in his life to be useful and to be able to memorize the Qur'an. While shedding tears, she said “O ALLAH, the most merciful, the most merciful, what is the meaning of this life if I can't give you the meaning of life, then that's why I'm blessed in learning to memorize Al-Qur'an.

I Want to Memorize the Qur'an - Motivational Short Stories
In the village and at school many people know her because of her beauty, friendliness, kindness and courtesy to others. He is friendly with all residents, and he also often helps other people in need, even though his family is just right. but because of a very strong belief in GOD, who has given what you have given to others with sincere.

He goes to SMA 01 GARUDA, and I'm in grade 2 now. Fatma at school knows her not because of her beauty but also because of her intelligence. He is smart in all fields, but only mathematics that he does not understand. But because of his very strong spirit, he never gave up hope to be able to master mathematics.
Ow., yes, he has also participated in a province-wide Al-Qur'an reading competition, you know…and he won 1st place representing his school. Great right.,,!!! Therefore, he developed his talent, which since he was a child, he likes to memorize the Koran.

Well…Fatma didn't go straight home from school because she had to do assignments with her friends, she rode her battered motorcycle, so that it was worn out, the important thing was that she could use it, said Fatma. After finishing work, he came home with his battered motorbike again, he rode his bike slowly. At that time a truck suddenly appeared from the right at high speed, while Fatma was going straight. Then he was hit, his bicycle flipped and the front shattered. His body collided with the side of the truck, and his eyes were bleeding. Not long after that, many people helped him, then he was taken to the hospital.

After one of his friends contacted Fatma's mother, and her mother immediately went to the hospital, in a state of shock and weakness, she was determined to go to see her son's condition. After arriving at the hospital, her mother asked the staff, and she was told that Fatma was in room 58…it turned out that Fatma had had her eyes operated on because of a tear. But unfortunately, the doctor did not ask permission from the family in advance, with the condition that he was very shocked to see the condition of his son, who according to the doctor was permanently blind.

His mother immediately fainted and was treated beside his son's room. After some time Fatma woke up. Fatma: Where am I now, everything feels dark. (and in that room were Fatma's friends, her name, Ita and Ayu). Ayu: Ma (their nickname for fatma) you are in the hospital, you fainted because you were hit by a truck. (Ayu did not respond to Fatma's question about "why is everything dark, because Ayu doesn't have the heart). Fatma: (she innocently said “Am I blind? If it's true that I'm blind, I'm sincere with all my heart, I surrender myself because that's the best way that GOD has given me. They both cried and hugged fatma. And we said "yes ma you are blind, even permanently blind, be patient, ma'am?? Remember ALLAH doesn't sleep mom, make istighfar ya mom. Fatma: Astaghfirllahhalazim (in a halting tone) Why... why do I have to be blind now, when I am passionate about memorizing the Al-Qur'an..

(Long later in a loud and angry tone) God is not fair in this life, why should I. Why Tuhaannnnn??? why not just someone else who is useless. God is not fair…(his friends could only cry and couldn't say anything, they were afraid they would hurt him, they patiently comforted and hugged Fatma)

Not long after his mother realized, holding her head that was still dizzy, she headed to her son's room. "Nduk, the patient, God, is fair, nduk". (while stroking his son's hair). But Mrs. Fatma wants to make her wish come true, so that Fatma can memorize the Koran. Mrs. Fatma's hope was destroyed, like a thin dust that was blown and scattered everywhere without a clear purpose (Fatma said to her mother, explaining her hopes for her mother)

Days passed, with enthusiasm that had returned to him, he memorized the Koran, he memorized the Koran by listening to other people read it. Because he is still reciting the Koran, it is the ustad who guides him every day. The ustadz who taught her was very impressed with her, because Fatma had memorized 8 juices in 5 months. Fatma also often gives lectures. First, many people admire her strengths, even though her condition is not perfect. But there were also those who mocked him.

Her mother is very proud of her, she hopes that her mother Fatma can memorize the Al-Qur'an 30 times. Ow yes at school many mocked him for being blind. In fatma's class there is a genk who really hates fatma. Idiihh.,, Where are there blind, smelly, poor people still going to school here. Aren't you ashamed? Hahaha (in a disdainful tone the genk left the class grumbling) uh, friends, that's too bad, Fatma, she didn't see (there was one of his friends from the genk is rather geeky and kind compared to his other friends his name is Friska he is nicknamed by his friends as the whacky.

Tika is the leader of the gang in her class…what are you doing trying to defend a blind girl like Fatma, a useless child. Iiich amused to see his blind eyes. Even though fatma is blind, her best friends never leave her (ayu, ita, and the guy who is concerned, namely Rehan) Rehan is a guy who he says is cool and his PD begs for mercy, the 4 of them are always together wherever they go go.

Okay, back to the beginning. In learning to memorize the Qur'an, Fatma was very supported by her friends, her mother and her sister. This made Fatma even more enthusiastic about memorizing the Qur'an. It's been 8 months he can memorize 20 juz in the Qur'an. At that time there was a competition at the jami' cottage in order to welcome the birthday of the Prophet. Fatma was registered by the ustadz who taught her the Koran and there were no fees to pay.
When he came home from school, he was happy to tell his mother that he was taking part in the "HAFIDZ" Qur'an Memorizing Competition. walah nduk proud mom….. study harder, bro. So that you get what you want. AMIIIN

There is no day without memorizing the Koran, tomorrow is the time for the competition. It was already 9 o'clock when Fatma was told to sleep with her mother so that tomorrow she would be more enthusiastic about the competition. The time you've been waiting for arrives, Fatma gets ready to leave. But her mother said that she would follow Fatma later. Fatma was told to go first. Ow, ok, send greetings to your ustadz, okay? Fatma kissed her mother's hand while shedding tears. "Ma'am, pray for Fatma to go smoothly, ma'am, in the competition later, don't forget to come, okay? (fatma leaves)

Mrs. Fatma left by riding a motorcycle taxi, with great joy and joy, Mrs. Fatma always smiled. On the way, it rained quite heavily. But Mrs. Fatma was still determined to continue the journey. Suddenly BRAAAKKK….the motorbike he was riding on fell down, Mrs. Fatma was thrown about 35 m away, the helmet she was wearing came off her head was bleeding, her right leg was severed because she was hit by a bus. The incident occurred at that time when the nets were quite slippery, then the motorbike crashed into the sidewalk in front of it. In that place, Fatma's mother also died.

(Fatma is nervous, because soon the program will start, but her mother hasn't come yet. His negative feelings began to appear in his hunch, he was afraid that something would happen to his mother, a few minutes later there was a call from an unknown number). Fatma: Hello, assalamualaikum, who is this? B: we are from the police that your mother just had an accident and died on the spot right away. Fatma: prakkkkkkkkkk her cellphone fell, tears immediately started pouring down, but the event had started and fatma was participant number 1, with a heavy heart she raced first and then came to her mother. After finishing all the competitions and now it's time to announce who the winner is, and it turns out that the 1st place winner goes to fatma, with feeling happy and sad he took the trophy that was given to him then he went straight home, his mother was about to be in bury. At Fatma's funeral, carrying a trophy, she said, "Mother, this is a trophy, ma'am. This is proof of Fatma's sincerity in memorizing the Koran. But at this time, mother did not know about Fatma's victory. Fatma won 1st place in memorizing the Koran, Fatma felt guilty because she had not been able to meet her expectations in memorizing 30 juz of the Koran (while stroking and kissing her mother's tombstone)

Fatma now has no mother, a mother who always teaches memorizing the Koran, now is the time In the morning, no one woke Fatma during the dawn prayer, and made breakfast for Fatma and younger brother. Fatma promises that Mrs. Fatma will take care of her sister, MOTHER OF OUR HEAVEN. I hope that your deeds and worship will be accepted by ALLAH SWT.
