On this occasion About the knowledge.co.id will discuss it and the things that also cover it. Let's look at the discussion in the article below to understand it better.
Internal Factors Causes of Human Rights Violations: Definition of Human Rights Violations and Kinds
Human rights violations can occur because there are factors that trigger them, both internal and external. Human Rights as we universally understand is an abbreviation of Human Rights. A term that is interpreted as a set of basic rights (fundamentals) attached to human beings since he started his life in the world.
With these rights, humans can live like humans. Human rights are universal because they are not limited by comparisons of race, nation, gender, and religion.
Its role is believed to be bigger than the law as well as any government power. Because of that, this violation of human rights is considered as a serious case because it automatically wants to injure humanity.
Human rights violations are acts that neglect basic obligations that are committed against other people and the causes can vary. Any country strictly prohibits a person from carrying out human rights violations against another person. In Indonesia itself, all forms of actions that can be considered as violating human rights have been regulated.
It is contained in Law No. 39 of 1999, human rights violations are defined:
Every act of a person or group of people including state apparatus, whether intentional or unintentional or negligence, which is against the law, reduces, hinders, limits, and revoke the human rights of other people protected by law and do not get or are afraid of not getting a legal settlement that is correct and fair according to the legal mechanism apply.
From this definition it is very clear that human rights are something that is highly protected by the State. Any form of violation against it will not be tolerated, whether attempted intentionally or not intentional, or attempted consciously, semi-consciously, especially those who pretended to be unconscious or not know.
Various Kinds of Internal Factors Causing Human Rights Violations
The internal aspect that triggers the formation of human rights violations is referred to as something that exists within a person which becomes a factor for him to commit acts of human rights violations against other people. The internal aspects of the classification are as follows:
Selfish Nature
The initial internal aspect is the emergence of a selfish character in a person. This character will make a person only think about his own feelings and ignore the feelings of others. The impact is that the person has the potential to carry out acts of human rights violations.
Individualist Nature
Almost the same as the initial character above, the second internal aspect is the presence of an individualist character. People who have this character are mostly unhappy socializing, they tend to be loners.
So, do not stick out the mind to prioritize universal interests. This character then creates a feeling of freedom to do anything without regard for other people, one of which is to carry out actions that violate human rights.
Psychological State of the Actor
The psychological state of the actor also becomes a driving factor for the formation of human rights violations. The things listed in this aspect are like, the actor is in a crazy state or is not in his right mind so that he is not conscious of what he is doing. Or it could also be that the actor is in a state of stress due to certain problems.
intolerance
Usually, perpetrators of human rights violations display an identity of intolerance or a character that has no tolerance for other people. This character tends to push someone to overdo it. Moreover, if you experience a problem, even if it's just a small problem.
vengeful
A person may be compelled to commit an act of human rights violation because of past grudges against the person who was the victim of the violation.
No Empathy
The lack of empathy makes the actor not feel guilty for committing a human rights violation. There is not even the slightest sense of concern for other people so that human values become meaningless.
Don't understand human rights
The understanding that is meant here is an understanding of the meaning of respecting human rights. What's more, there are also actors who do not know at all what human rights are and their violations.
Erroneous Human Rights Thinking
In contrast to the above, this actor knows about the existence of human rights, it's just that he has wrong ideas about human rights. What's more, these human rights are meant as I like or according to their own ideas, which are different from the description that applies universally.
No Respect for Human Dignity and Dignity
As a result of the lack of respect for human dignity and worth, actors can easily commit acts of human rights violations. The actor did not have time to think about the meaning of upholding humanity, so he freely committed the offense against him.
Discrimination
Usually, a person turns into an actor who violates human rights because of acts of discrimination he has received from people around him, such as friends, relatives or parents.
External Factors Causing Human Rights Violations
Not only the internal aspects above, there are also external aspects that trigger the formation of human rights violations. At least, this aspect consists of 5 items, namely:
Incompetent Law and its Apparatus
Laws that have been made must be enforced in accordance with applicable conditions. However, in reality the law is not enforced. Legal officials, such as the police, prosecutors and judges who are supposed to be in charge of overseeing and enforcing the law are not functioning as they should.
As a result, there is no firm action against all forms of human rights violations. This is to make perpetrators of human rights violations not worried so that they can easily carry out these actions.
Political and Social Structure Creates Human Rights Violations
The formation of political and social inequalities that exist in a country can stimulate the formation of human rights violations. This situation can be in the form of governance that is wrong and seems to be ignorant of all the things that are happening in society.

Economic Gap
There is a very wide gap between the rich and the poor, where the rich show style living luxuriously and wasting money, while the poor around him suffered starving. This matter is prone to give rise to criminal acts that lead to human rights violations.
Lack of socialization about human rights
This point is a common thread from the internal aspect above, where the perpetrators of human rights violations do not know or are do not understand about human rights because there is little socialization about human rights that should be tried by the parties authorized.
Technology Abuse
In reality, technology does not only provide positive effects, but also negative things if it is not used according to its purpose. Massive integration using computerization has given rise to a new type of crime, namely electronic burglary and sabotage.
Not only that, industrial progress that pays little attention to the area is also a contributing factor to the destruction of the area. The impact, want to criticize the health of many people. This action is also included in the form of human rights violations.
