9 Abnormalities & Disorders in Human Muscles – Muscles are an active means of movement in humans, because of their ability to contract and relax. Muscles have various types and their respective functions.
9 Abnormalities & Disorders in Human Muscles
After we find out various muscles in humans, then we will discuss and review what abnormalities and disorders occur in human muscles. We must often experience it, such as cramps in the legs, arms, neck, sprains and so on. Some of these abnormalities will be discussed below.
Abnormalities And Disorders In Human Muscles
There are several kinds of abnormalities or disorders in human muscles, including:
1. Tetanus
Is a condition of continuous muscle tension due to infection by the Clostridium tetani bacteria so that the muscles continuously contract.
2. Sprains
Caused by muscle work antagonist, where this way of working causes chaotic movements, so that the ends of the bones do not return to their place.
3. cramps
Same with muscle spasms. Cramps occur because the muscles work continuously or work too hard so that the muscles spasm and cause pain. In addition, cramps can also occur due to cold weather or are a symptom of an imbalance of water and ions in the body.
4. Polio
Is a condition of wasting muscles due to polio virus attack. This disease can be prevented by giving polio immunization to infants.
5. muscle fatigue
A condition in which the muscles cannot contract, which can cause cramps.
6. Stiff Neck
Occurs due to sudden or abrupt jerking movements or wrong movements, resulting in inflamed neck muscles.
7. Abdominal hernia
Occurs due to tearing of the abdominal muscle wall so that the intestine descends and enters the abdominal cavity.
8. Muscle astrophy
Namely the occurrence of a decrease in the maximum work function of the muscles caused by the muscles shrinking and losing the function of contraction.
9. Muscular dystrophy
Is a disorder of the muscles that usually occurs in children or toddlers due to a disease or disability since birth.
It's good that we often do sports so that our muscles become flexible and not stiff. Besides that, we can also maintain our body's stamina to stay fit and healthy and avoid various kinds of disorders.
