Definition of Mindset
Mindset is an individual's mental view that influences the person's approach in dealing with an event/phenomenon/event. Another definition of mindset according to some experts is:
1. Mulyadi (2007:14)
The definition of mindset according to Mulyadi is an established mental attitude formed through education, experience and prejudice.
2. Gunawan (2007:14)
The definition of mindset according to Gunawan is beliefs that affect somebody's attitude; a set of beliefs a way of thinking that determines sombebody's behavior and outlook. Beliefs that affect one's attitude; a set of beliefs or a way of thinking that determines one's behavior and views, attitudes and future.
3. Adi W Gunawan in Rachmat Soegiharto (2013)
The definition of mindset according to Adi W Gunawan is a set of beliefs or ways of thinking that influence a person's behavior and attitude, which will ultimately determine the level of success his life.
Mindset Types
Carol Dweck (2006) argues that there are two types of mindset, namely:
Fixed Mindset
Fixed Mindset (Fixed Mindset) is based on the belief that one's quality has been determined. If a person has certain intelligence, certain personality and certain moral character. The characteristics of a person who has a fixed mindset are as follows:

Paradigm
Paradigm is a way that is used by someone in looking at something. Paradigman is a basic belief system or way of looking at the world that guides researchers not only in choosing methods but also in fundamental ontological and epistemological ways.
A paradigm can be seen as a set of basic beliefs (or those behind the physical, namely meta-physical) which are basic or main principles. A paradigm can be characterized by responses to three fundamental questions, namely questions of ontology, epistemology and methodology (Guba, 1990:18)
Basic Beliefs
Basic beliefs are beliefs that are attached to someone in something. If we do something that is believed, we will do something wholeheartedly. Confidence is an attitude shown by humans when they feel they know enough and conclude that they have reached the truth.
Because belief is an attitude, one's belief is not always true or belief alone is not a guarantee of truth. When faith is not there doubts will arise, and mistakes will often get in the way. Belief is so important in life as belief in religion (Nova: 2011)
Base Value
The basic values of attitudes, traits and characters that are upheld by a person, so that according to these values a person is limited. Values or values are beliefs or beliefs that are practiced in the form of people's behavior in everyday life.

The process of creating a mindset or how to form a mindset can be done in the following steps:
