The following are some of the purposes of making references:
- Avoid plagiarism
The use of references is intended so that it does not become an act of plagiarism or olagiarism of other people's work. An article generally becomes the intellectual property of its author. So if an author uses a theory, sentence or opinion that is used from another source, the source must be stated clearly.

- This universal reference type contains a data source that overrides a library source
- Another type of universal reference listed in this group is the manual or manual novel

- The reference list is arranged alphabetically by author. If the contents of the item do not include the author, they are quoted by title, and listed in the alphabet using the first significant word of the title.
- If you have more than one item with the same author, arrange the items in chronological order, starting with the most recent publication.

- There is no indentation of the reference.
- No numbering by reference.
