Natural Fables

This type of fable is a story about an animal that has the same character as the original character in the real world. For example the story of the tiger, in the fable the tiger has a greedy and savage character. This character is the same as reality.

Adaptation Fables

Is the opposite of a natural fable. The characters are adaptations of other characters. The writer deliberately gives a different impression to the animal characters in the story. Example of Fable Text

Noble Hearted Butterfly

Orientation

It is said that one sunny day there was an ant walking in the garden. He was very happy because he could take a walk to see the beautiful garden. The ant went around the garden greeting the animals in the garden.

Complications

He saw a cocoon on a tree. The ant scoffed at the ugly cocoon that couldn't go anywhere.

“Hey, cocoon how bad your fate is. You can only hang on the branch. Let's go for a walk, see this vast world. What will happen to you if the branch breaks?”

The ant always prides himself on being able to go where he likes. In fact, the strong ant lifts a weight that is bigger than his body. The ant feels that he is the most powerful animal. The cocoon just kept quiet hearing the ridicule.

One morning the ant walked back into the garden. Because of the rain, everywhere there were puddles of mud. The slippery mud makes the ants slip into the mud. He fell into the mud. The ant almost drowned in the puddle. Ants scream as loud as possible for help. " Please help me! I want to drown, please…, please….!

Resolution

Luckily at that time there was a butterfly that flew past. Then, the butterfly extended a branch towards the ant.

"Ants, hold on tight to that branch! Later I will lift the branch."

Then, the ant held tightly to the branch. The butterfly lifted the branch and lowered it to a safe place. Then, the ant thanked the butterfly because the butterfly had saved his life. He praised the butterfly as a great and commendable animal.

Hearing the praise, the butterfly said to the ant. "I am the cocoon that was teased," said the butterfly. Turns out, the cocoon he used to mock had saved him.”

Code

Finally, the ant promised the butterfly that he would not offend all of God's creatures in the garden.

The Greedy Crocodile

This fictional story tells of a crocodile who has a greedy nature. Greed is a bad trait and must be avoided. This understanding is very important for children, so they can apply social values well with their family and friends. Here's a snippet of the story:

“This story takes place in a lake in the middle of a forest. A crocodile who was in the lake was very hungry. He saw a duck swimming on the shore of the lake. The crocodile swiftly caught the duck. However, the duck begged not to be eaten on the grounds that it had little meat. The ducks offer only the herd of goats to eat.

Crocodiles are tempted by goat's body which is full of meat. Crocodile explores into the forest in search of goats. Having met the goat, the crocodile immediately caught him. But the goat also begged not to be eaten, and suggested that the crocodile should just eat the elephant, which has so much more meat. The crocodile walked again to find the fat elephant.

After a long walk, finally the crocodile found the calf. The crocodile immediately preyed on it, but unexpectedly from behind there was a mother elephant who immediately stepped on the crocodile's body. Mother Elephant's body is so big that it could easily trample a crocodile to death. The moral message that can be learned is, don't be greedy and be grateful for whatever you have received, even if it's a little.
