Definition of Reader's Letter
The definition of a reader's letter according to Ministry of Education and Culture is a letter written by readers, which is published in newspapers/newspapers, tabloids, or magazines containing responses, criticisms, suggestions, complaints, invitations, appeals, thanks, and others.
A letter to the reader is generally written for reasons of public interest, such as complaining about potholes on the road, telephone operators frequently raising rates, infrastructure that is lacking, transportation that has not been fixed or arranged, or consumers who feel disadvantaged by goods delivery service companies because the goods ordered have not been accepted.

- It is general in nature because a reader's letter may be read by many people, because the content conveyed affects the interests of many people
Reader Letter Writing Format
In writing a letter to the reader, you should look at the writing format first, namely:
- Title: Shows complaints, praise, against the intended object. Thus, it will be easier for the editor of the newspaper to point the letter to the correct object.
- Sender identity: In this case a letter writer reveals his identity, from name, age, address, contact.
