Sick Permit: Definition, Format and Examples
Letters are written communication media used to convey information by a person or interested party to another to convey a certain message.
A permit is a letter containing information about someone asking permission from a school, university or workplace and others because of a need that cannot be abandoned, for example, illness, competitions and activities other. Making a permit must be in accordance with the truth of what happened and be able to take responsibility for it what is written, not merely writing a permit only for personal purposes outside obligation.
In general, a permit expresses a person's inability to carry out various activities. Making a permit is intended for the benefit of permission not to go to school, college or work. The various purposes for the letter above are included in personal letters or informal letters. For the use of the permit itself, it has a basic format as a reference so that it makes it easier for someone to write it.
Sick Permit Form
The sick leave letter has a certain writing format that you must pay attention to. In general, the format for writing an excuse letter for being sick from school and work is as follows:
Letter date
The date on the sick leave is very important. The date serves as a time marker, namely when the permit was made. You are required to write the date on the sick leave letter for absence from school and work.
Mailing Address (Intended Party)
A sick leave letter must contain the mailing address or the party it is addressed to. In this section, you must write to whom the letter is addressed. So, write clearly the address to which the letter is going.
Greetings
The greeting serves as a form of respect for the writer of the letter to the addressee. You can use the word "With respect" which is commonly used as a greeting.
Content of letter
The contents of the letter are divided into opening, body, and closing parts. The opening section contains an introductory sentence why you should send the sick leave letter. Then in the content section, you must clearly write down the reasons you cannot come to work or attend classes at school. Finally, the closing section is usually a thank you note.
Closing
