Relations Between Living Things and Their Environment (Complete)
Relations Between Living Things and Their Environment – We know that the relationship between living things is very important, why? because every living thing on this earth is very dependent on other living things.
For example, butterflies will not get food if there are no flowers, sparrows peck rice in the fields and so on. On this occasion, aroundknowledge.co.id will discuss the relationship between living things and their environment. Here's an explanation.
Relations Between Living Things and Their Environment (Complete)
Let's discuss the complete relationship between living things below carefully.
Relations Between Living Things
Between one living thing with other living things interdependence. The relationship between two types of living things that live together is called symbiosis.
Symbiosis Mutualism
Namely the relationship of living things that are mutually beneficial between the two. Such as: the relationship between butterflies and flowering plants, buffalo and starlings and ramora fish with sharks.
Butterflies need flowers and flowers need butterflies because the motions a butterfly can cause The fall of the pollen grains on the white head causes the meeting of the pollen grains and the stigma to occur pollination.
The relationship between buffalo and starlings is that buffaloes are lucky because they are free from ticks and birds are lucky because they can eat fleas. Meanwhile, sharks are lucky because their bodies are clean from food scraps between their teeth and ramora fish are lucky because they get food.
Commensalism symbiosis
That is a relationship that only benefits one party and the other party does not feel disadvantaged and unprofitable. For example, orchids or ferns and large trees. Ferns and orchids need a high place to get sunlight easily. while the tree occupied does not feel disadvantaged and benefited.
Parasitism symbiosis
It is a relationship that benefits one party and the other party is harmed, as in fleas that live on the animal's body & reflexia that live on the host's body. Fleas are lucky to land on animals' bodies because they can get food by sucking blood, while animals are disadvantaged because they feel itchy on their skin so that their growth becomes unhealthy.
Relationships of Living Things in Ecosystems
There are two kinds of ecosystems namely artificial ecosystems and natural ecosystems. Definition of ecosystem is the place where the relationship of interdependence takes place between living things and their environment. There are several kinds of ecosystems that will be discussed, including:
1. Forest Ecosystem
Which is the largest ecosystem on land. In the forest there are many plants that live among them, teak trees, fruits, grass etc. So many animals live in the forest, such as monkeys, orangutans, birds, tigers etc. So those included in the forest ecosystem include teak trees, grass, snakes, monkeys, tigers, birds and other plants and animals.
2. Paddy Ecosystem
Is a handmade ecosystem man. Where there are not too many members of this ecosystem. The main member is rice. The objects in this ecosystem are water and soil.
3. Ornamental Pond Ecosystem
Members of the ornamental pond ecosystem include ornamental fish such as koi fish, Lohan fish and various other ornamental fish as well as lotus plants, water hyacinth, water, stones etc.
4. Garden Ecosystem
Including artificial ecosystems, where there are more members than the paddy field ecosystem. Such as citrus trees, apples, jackfruit, coconut, chilies, cabbage, cassava, caterpillars, ants, crickets, lizards etc.
Food chain
The journey of eating to eat like forming a chain is called a food chain. The food chain is composed of producers (producers), consumers (users), and decomposers.
Example: Rats eat rice seeds, therefore rats depend on rice. The rice field snake eats rats, therefore the rice field snake depends on the rat. Rice and all green plants are said to be producers, while animals are said to be consumers.
Rice is eaten by rats, rats are eaten by snakes and one day the snakes will die, so the snake's carcass is decomposed by bacteria. Bacteria here act as decomposers.

Effects of Environmental Change
Every change in the environment affects the continuity of life. Many things cause the environment to change, including:
-
Pollution
Pollution or contamination can damage water, soil, and also the air. -
Logging and Forest Fires
Forest fires can destroy the environmental balance. Various plants and animals will become extinct and burn to death. The smoke caused will billow and cause air pollution. With the fires, forests become denuded and cause floods and landslides.
Thus our brief discussion this time about Relations Between Living Things and Their Environment (Complete), hopefully it can provide benefits to readers. Thank you very much 🙂
